Abstract: 

تحقیقات انجام شده نشان می دهد که مورفولوژی استخوان بستگی به بارهای مکانیکی وارد به آن دارد، فرآیندی که این وابستگی را کنترل می کند «نوسازی» نامیده می شود. با توجه به پیروی استخوان از اصول بهینه سازی، در این مقاله از روش بهینه سازی ساختاری Level SET برای مدلسازی همزمان فرآیند های نوسازی داخلی و خارجی استخوان پروکسیمال فمور استفاده شده است. همچنین برای بررسی اثر وجود تخلخل و در نتیجه دانسیته ظاهری متغیر در شکل استخوان اسفنجی مدلساری ها در دو مرحله، مرحله اول با فرض دانسیته ثابت و مرحله دوم با فرض دانسیته متغیر برای استخوان، انجام شده است که نتایج حاصله نشاندهنده یکسان بودن تقریبی هندسه خارجی استخوان و تفاوت قابل ملاحظه ای در هندسه داخلی و وزن آن در دو مرحله مدلسازی است. در نهایت برای اثبات درستی روش، نتایج حاصله با نتایج تجربی حاصل از تصویربرداری اشعه ایکس و برخی از مقالات ارایه شده در این زمینه مقایسه شده است.

Abstract: 

In this paper we define the Soft SET Product as a product of many soft SETs and afterwards we extend it to the HyperSoft SET. Similarly, the IndetermSoft Product is extended to the IndetermHyperSoft SET. We also present several applications of the Soft SET Product to Fuzzy (and fuzzy-extensions)  Soft SET Product and to IndetermSoft SET and IndetermHyperSoft SET.

Abstract: 

Recently two important methods [Wang Zh., X., Liu, Y.J. and Feng, B. “Ranking L-R fuzzy number based on deviation degree”, Information Science, pp. 2070- 2077 (2009); and Wang, Y.M. and Luo, Y. \Area ranking of fuzzy numbers based on positive and negative ideal points”, Computers and Mathematics with Applications, pp. 1769-1779 (2009)] have been proposed for ranking fuzzy numbers. But we have found that they both have a same basic disadvantage. In this paper, after a short review on different proposed fuzzy number ranking methods, we explain the drawback on deviation degree and the area ranking methods and provide an improvement method to overcome this shortage. Our approach is based on the maximization SET and MINIMIZATION SET methods concepts. The results show the superiority of the proposed method in comparison with other ranking methods, especially when the ranking of the inverse and the symmetry of the fuzzy numbers are of interest.

Abstract: 

There is an increasing trend towards the engineering characteristics and utility of proteins in order to the industrial, biotechnological and biopharmaceutical applications. Lots of protein manipulations can be achieved through site directed mutagenesis. It is expensive and time consuming to analyze the effect of mutation by getting an X-ray structure of mutant proteins. The use of predictive computational methods has become more prevalent in recent years leading to decrease the cost of experiments. Therefore, it is needed and common to predict the influence of engineering on protein structure with molecular dynamics (MD) simulation before going to the experiment. In this work, the software “MiniMutate” has been developed which can do a single mutation in a protein structure. Mutant coordinate file which is generated after the local and the global MINIMIZATION with molecular dynamics program NAMD will be returned as the output. This file can be used as an input of MD simulation packages. In comparison to similar software at WHATIF server, MiniMutate can do mutation in a specific chain that user is selected, the important option which is lacking on WHAT IF, and with minimizing mutant structure it can be more precision than the WHAT IF output. In addition, this software can be used to construct missing side chains from PDB file. The software is freely available at: http://bioinf.modares.ac.ir/software/minimutate/.

Abstract: 

Waste MINIMIZATION management systems are one of the effective methods of reducing wastes production in all industries and service units. In such systems, the main goal is to seek all the possible ways of minimizing waste production.In this study, one of the country’s detergent-production factories, Tazh detergent factory, was chosen for case study.After gathering the general information about waste MINIMIZATION management systems and studying the different activities of a detergent industry, the main parts of the factory were identified. The results of the study show that the major units producing wastes in this plant are powder and sulfunation units. Application of waste MINIMIZATION management systems in these units reduced waste production by about 18% and about 84 million rials was saved, a considerable figure considering the total costs of the units.

Abstract: 

The vehicle emissions mainly depend on the amount of consumed fuel، type of fuel and traveled distance. One way to combat with greenhouse gases and air pollution associated with oil consumption is to use alternative energy sources. However، the lack of infrastructures such as refueling stations is one of the major barriers to the adoption of alternative-fuel vehicles. In this study، as an operational approach for transition period، we propose a model to extend the vehicle routing problem to green vehicles. This is a NP-Hard problem، and consequently it is very difficult to solve the real-world instances. Therefore، we propose a solving method based on benders decomposition that equipped with a SET of valid inequalities. Implementation of proposed algorithm on randomly generated problems leads to acceptable results in a reasonable time.
